The latest developments on Temperature Controlled Transportation

The transportation of drugs, especially their cooling, is one of the most challenging topics within the pharmaceutical industry – and its weak spot. If temperature varies too much during the process of transportation, the impact could be immense. The pharmaceutical cool chain ensures transport and distribution of drugs under specific temperature conditions and is subject to industry specific regulation which requires two main aspects: Packaging (Cooling) AND Tracking (Monitoring). Both are not only content but also technology driven. One of the key challenges with those aspects is to balance both quality and costs. Packaging in particular has to be able to withstand great environmental fluctuations and in conjunction with cooling devices has to maintain the temperature of the drug product AND/OR biological product between predefined limits

Cooperation with transportation partners, risk management and micro-logistics

Our annual conference will provide you with the latest updates and developments on regulatory standards, transportation partners, risk management and ´ambient transportation` within the pharmaceutical industry.

Learn how to

  • Select and validate transportation partners
  • Identify and manage risks along the cool chain
  • Handle `ambient temperature´ and its transportation problems
  • Implement upcoming EU regulations and industry standards (GDP)
  • Organize temperature-controlled supply chain in emerging markets

Meet experts providing you with solutions for cool chain challenges and listen to presentations that will make the pharmaceutical cool chain look like the easiest thing there is!
